On June 11, the 7th and 8th grade chorus went to go see Wicked. Wicked is the untold story of the Wizard Of Oz, featuring the Wicked Witch of the West and the Good Witch of the South. We left YMS at 2:00pm on Sunday. Attending a show at this level was a big deal and typically people dress very nicely for this kind of occasion. We loaded the buses at 1:50 the latest, and it took us a little over 1 hour to get to Quincy Market. There was lists posted telling you which bus you are on and which chaperone you will be checking in with throughout the evening. Once we got to the Quincy Market area we went in to Quincy Market, which is where you can get food. We had 20 minutes to get our food and go to the bathrooms, but we had to be with a buddy at all times. Once we all got our food we met the chaperones after they got their food in the center of Quincy Market. After we met up, there was 20 minutes for us to eat our food and get ready to start heading over to Faneuil Hall for the show. Once we arrived, our chaperone gave us our ticket and we walked in to Faneuil Hall. Each one of us had assigned seat throughout the theatre, which we sat in for the whole show. Wicked was about 2 hours and 30 minutes, but we had an intermission in the middle of the show. Wicked ended up ending at about 10:30 then we boarded the busses and head home after a long but fun day. Wicked was a great show which we all enjoyed, everyone was so engaged with watching it. Thank you Mrs. Etter for taking us on such a fun trip!
